Good movie

That happens frequently.
"Oh that movie sucks."
"The movie hasn't even opened yet."
"Yes, but it just sounds stupid."
Those sort of exchanges are common. I've never been a person who will take what someone else thinks about a movie to heart, unless that person knows me and my taste in movies very well. There are few people I will listen to when they tell me it that wasn't good or that it was exceptional.
My mother went on opening night to see it and said afterward that it was a good movie, but she never would have gone to see it and wouldn't watch it again. She said it was too real and that she was more than happy to live in ignorance about the horrible things people do to each other.
LFN's Madeline: There's been entirely too much externalization of emotion lately. -

I thought the actual quality was not very good. I liked the message and was surprised it wasn't more evangelistic.(pleasantly surprised) I do not know much about the real guy but have respect for anyone that would fight against KONY.

Didn't like the first half so much, mainly because both the character and the story lacked conviction. It was good character development but it damn sure wasn't too well executed or very interesting.
2nd half was way more powerful, and seemed way better done overall, than the 1st half.
Almost, seemed like they had a whole different team come in the for the last half.
And, the last half left a great impact and feeling for me so
7/10

I liked it too. Sam Childers has seen a lot of controversy as of late, with the ATF raids and all, and I've heard different accounts of what he actually does in Africa. The movie was entertaining however, and nobody would know anything about Kony or the LRA if not for this film. 7/10
