Horrible grammar doesn't work in this movie

I'm probably going to get slammed for this, but I'm genuinely curious about why the awful grammar is like nails on a chalkboard in this movie. It was natural in "Slinglade" and a few other movies, but I found it distracting in this film. Did anyone else feel that way?
"Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate?"

I found it distracting in this film.
So for example you think the bikers and junkies we see should be more eloquent with their speech?
