No Juan, now this is all very simple…..
The X-Men are from Fox Comics. Johnny Alpha is from Wildstorm Comics which is a division of Corporate Comics (the guys who do Charlie War and Minute Man). The Avengers are Marvel Cinematic Universe Comics and these other guys you mentioned (Friday John Pineapples etc) are from Warrior Comics (who also do V is for Vendetta and Marvel Man).

OK, but Spider-man and Deadpool are friends, right?
And Deadpool is in a movie with Wolverine coming up later this year
But Spider-man was in a movie with Ironman
And Johnny Alpha was a time traveller like the TVA take down from both aforementioned franchises.
Explain this then Bobby!

I really can’t explain that one, Juan. Perhaps Fox Comics were able to use Archie Comics Spider-Man as a sort of time share thing such as Quicksilver. Maybe they could show the costume but not use the Spider-Man name.

I…….just don’t know Juan. This is all making my head hurt like nobodies business. I don’t know what fits where and who’s been sleeping with whom. This is why I prefer singular stories with a beginning middle and end. Bish bash bosh spaghetti.

I don’t think I ever read it as I don’t like newspaper cartoon strips. With only 3-4 panels I always feel sad that the strip is over as soon as it’s begun.
️
There was one in The Sun that I used to glance at if there was a copy sitting about.
It as always about women in lingerie and dressing gowns with their hair up in towels talking about how they were going to treat (Or occasionally trick) their husband when he came home.
I'm not sure why I wanted to look at it Bobby, but I did so at every chance I got

Do you mean these photo strips on the Dear Deidre (or whoever) page?

They weren't photo strips Bobby, they were drawings of a comic nature, but with a tiny bit more realism. They were in the comic strip section , near the horoscopes I think

It was called George and Lynn Bobby!
Great job finding it!
It's been a long, long time since I saw it but it was a tiny bit racy from memory

I can picture a younger you sat in the barbers waiting for your hair cutting and there with the magazines is a copy of The Sun newspaper. That’s how I know about The Perishers.

Hey Juan I’ve just looked it up and it was The Mirror where The Perishers appeared, not The Mail. This makes more sense as I knew more adults who got The Mirror than The Mail.

I have never read The Mirror Bobby, it just hasn't found its way onto a table top in front of me but it has those pesky sexy font pages which always draws the eye to them if I remember correctly
Well, I'm glad you got to the mystery of where The Perishers appeared Bobby. Great job!
