in the tunnel on her morning jog why doesnt the non-pregnant sister help him ?
If not herself, but why not call an ambulance ?
Im from Sweden so I dont know if theres any difference on how treating wounded people in the US?
She claims to be christian also and a lunchbox might just not be the real christian thing enough to help a wounded man.

Yes that scene didn't make any sensenot only she didn't even bother to call an ambulance but she didn' even tell the cop that was already at her house to check it outand then she goes back with a lunch box when the guy clearly needed medical attentionlol

Do you have ANY idea how many homeless people are in the LA area? Seeing a homeless person isn't cause to alert the police. This was not an altogether unusual interaction with a homeless person.
and then she goes back with a lunch box when the guy clearly needed medical attention.
Where do you get the idea that he "clearly needed" medical attention? Maybe you've just never seen anyone on heavy drugs, but he seemed more strung out than hurt.

Except he was asking for help
So do homeless people, who go ignored
It was a little convoluted but nevertheless he wanted something other than drugs
How would anyone know that when nobody stops to find out? You need to keep in mind WHERE the story takes place. Many Californians are extremely apathetic to the homeless problem.

No they would not call the police if they found a homeless junkie getting high in a tunnel. Especially in LA.

Honestly, I've lived in several countries, and all - every single one of them - seems to have this trait in common: see enough homeless individuals, they become invisible. I suppose it's part of human nature. She initially ignored him because he was just another homeless alkie/junkie - but due to her own experiences she later came back with food to try to help him, which was beautiful.

He wasn't injured. He looked like he was beep up on something, mentally impaired, and living on the streets for a long time. There are lots of homeless that look just like him in any country.
You don't call the cops on every single one. That wouldn't make any sense. Unless someone is bleeding or asking you to call an ambulance. He was talking 100% nonsense. -

I thought that very odd as well. I'm sure she thought he was just a homeless guy acting crazy but in her shoes I would have called an ambulance just in case. He did seem to badly wounded and the way he was sort of across the tunnel struck me as most unnatural.

You've never seen someone strung out before, have you?

That part bothered me too. I couldn't just "do nothing" if I came across someone begging for help, and I'm not even a "Christian". Especially since the next thing that happened was she came home and met Detective Mallory; that would have been the obvious time to mention it, even more so since he'd given her his name and his son's name and asked her to contact his son.

You people have no concept of the world. What was she supposed to do? The man appears to be homeless and on drugs. What is she supposed to tell detective Mallory? That there's a random homeless person doing drugs in the tunnel? Do you have any idea how common that is in LA? You think a missing persons detective has nothing better to do than go harass the homeless? What do you think he was supposed to do about it anyway?

Exactly, I hate it when someone says "blah blah blah, but I'm in Iceland!", one obvious rule when watching a movie is that not all movies are going to be filmed in your neighbourhood, in fact in my neighbourhood I don't think any movie has ever been filmed here. So I have to put 2 and 2 together and deduct using my common sense that all movies are made somewhere else.
Jesus, we really are turning in to a planet of simpletons! It's north LA ffs, even I 6,000 miles away know not to communicate with junkies, I also know the police will laugh at you if you've called them just to report a sleeping one.
