    The saddest part was when she was looking through the photo album that had pictures of all her past King Charles. I've got such a soft spot for dogs so that really hit me, the rest of the film was mediocre.

      I agree. Dogs simply don't live long enough. I'm a total sap about them. There should be warnings on movies. Caution: the dog dies approach with tissue.

          the saddest part is watching her daughter grow older. every dog owner loses the dog eventually, having a daughter grow old and die before your eyes is the real horror.
