Not to seem as if I'm putting down 'Mirror, Mirror', I haven't seen the movie and I don't intended to but 'SWATH' will pass the domestic box office total of 'MM' today or tomorrow. Numbers like that 'speak' for themselves.

Actually Mirror, Mirror was by far the better movie. SWATH was all CGI and the godawful wooden acting of Ms. Stewart. I found it tedious and poorly written. MM was funny as well as dramatic.

It is rather surprising that both film based on Snow White are 2 months apart.

You took all the movies out of my mouth that I thought of. Picking my brain I can also think of The Truman show/ Ed TV, Saving Private Ryan/ A Thin Red Line, Million Dollar Baby/ Cinderella Man, No Strings Attached/ Friends with Benefits. Some are a little of a stretch but I think they are good comparisons

Valmont and Dangerous Liaisons were made within a year of each other

There was also all the penguin movies around the time of Happy Feet.
Also, Finding Nemo / Shark Tale, and Red Eye / Flight Plan.

In the 1960s there were 2 Harlow films out about the same time, one starred Carol Lynley and the other starred Carol Baker. I think
