That may be true, but percent of deaths with these "aSsAUlT wEePoNS" is miniscule, and the vast vast vast majority of gun deaths are with handguns. So the correlation you're suggesting doesn't really line up.

So as I am sitting here at work I dont have the time or resources on hand to examine this closer but since most mass shootings are committed with handguns I suspect the chart is intentionally misleading. I think they are counting handgun deaths in the total numbers in order to ban… not handguns. Democrats may fall for such nonsense because the chart tells them what they already WANT to hear. Anyone who actually thinks about it critically for 2 seconds will see right through it.
