yet another improbable thing mentioned in this movie and I've always wondered:
Morgan Freeman mentions that he makes ridiculous amounts of money by making people pay for digital downloads showing how magic tricks are accomplished.
What universe does this take place in?
You can google almost any movie and watch it for
free
on the internet, much less some old guy talking about magic tricks. There are so few companies that still make money on pay per download services. And how many tricks can he talk about? I doubt there's enough tricks to talk about that can sustain his long career. And are there really that many people so desperate to learn the secrets of magic that they will pay a couple bucks just to get an answer?
