I cannot stomach watching this whiner Bill. I've been recording all the new eps, dreading watching because of the previews I've seen. Well I finally suffered through the season's first ep, where Wuss-Man couldn't even start a fire. Okay, let's give him another chance. tried to sit through the Sawmill mountains ep and just couldn't do it! Watching that man-baby attempt and fail at making another fire! I knew from there I will not be able to watch any more of that nonsense. Not to mention, I really cannot stand the way he speaks. What kind of accent is that anyway? Cardboard box Willy beep Flats? (make that "from Horse Poop Flats"!)

I think he started getting better in the third, and actually approached normal in the fourth.

That sounds about right. He started shaping up around the 3rd episode, then in last weeks episode he started slipping and began talking to the trees again. And in last nights episode he was full blown back to talking to the trees, the water, and anything else in nature that was willing to converse with him.
Now if only the water and the trees could recommend to him a good psychiatrist, we might have something! -

I didn't really consider last weeks "tree whispering" to be all that bad. I think an argument could be made that he had a good point. Not about talking to trees or anything but about appreciating things in nature like a tree that was that old and big. Grady just seems to want to keep moving and never bothers to stop and look around.
Matt stopped and did things similar to this all though he never talked to trees or water and never came off as weird as Bill. I don't think there is anything wrong with stopping to look around and appreciate the beauty of nature. Bill just needs to clean it up and stop coming off as a weirdo who wants to have sex with trees. Grady needs to lighten up and actually stop and look around more. Even Joe enjoyed the scenery every now and then. -

Understood Arbuckle, I'm just messing around. Truth be told, I kind of like Bill, quirks and all -

He needs to get a new show on HGTV where he builds outhouses for back-to-basics millennials.
Agreed, malcolm, he'd be much more apept at that. Either way, I won't be watching him on either show if I can help it. I am not into wimpy personalities, especially ones attempting to demonstrate survival skills. For me, there is no comparison (so far!) to Les Stroud, Cody Lundin and Matt Graham even will include Joe Teti, when it comes to the survival shows I've seen. (and I've watched quite a few!) -

Yes! Great news i could not stomach the guy at all and for the first time since discovering the show yrs ago took it off my record list.
Will give it another try in the new season my pref would be Matt with someone else similar maybe a gal.
I do
not
want to see the hosts fighting among themselves. That gets old real quick.
I would also prefer to see them set up for longer stays at least in some epi's.
