Go to the majority of Europe's party type resorts in the summer and you will find that they all are filled with British and Irish people working there.
Yorkshire is a place. Yorkshire is a state of mind. -

Largely why i refuse to go to places like Magaluf or Ibiza, I go on Holiday to get away from half these sorts of twats in England, not to be surrounded by the most obnoxious of them for a week.
Last time I went to Spain i went to a nice area just outside Malaga, though half hour drive away there was a tourist area which you could tell immediately was full of party goers. Very tacky, just like a night out in a beep hole in Blackwood, Wales.
I'd like to think films like this and Kevin & Perry Go Large would put people off going there, not fun one bit. -

Karnivore, I agree 100% I made the mistake of going to Kavos on a 18-30s in 2003 and its basically drunken England by the sea. Granted I was a lot younger then but Id rather go to skegness with a bunch of pensioners then do one of those holidays again, although I wouldnt be allowed to go on one even if I wanted to now as Im 31 lol, but still.just fill of vile drunken chavs.

Tried to sound superior but just come across as a knob. I've been to ibiza a few times and haven't met any "twats" probably because people like you dont go. They're far from all English either, the people on the left where Italian and the people on the right germans plus met french, Americans, Spanish, Canadian etcetera. See if you don't immediately judge people and have a conversations you see the majority of people are friendly and not "obnoxious twats".

Nicos wasn't English nor was the guy who owned the hotel. They both had speaking parts, albeit small ones. Of course the main speaking parts are more likely to be English, because it's an English movie, taken from an English show!
Plus, as others have already mentioned, certain holiday resorts are Brit-central, and a home away from home. People go there when they want more sunshine, but nothing more exotic, with all the comforts of home.

The movie is set in a typical Club 18-30 destination. At these sort of places, Crete, Magaluf, Tenerife, Ibiza you get areas that are predominantly British and Irish so most of the staff and locals are ex-pats or summer workers. The other European nations generally have more dignity than us Brits so we monopolise when it comes to drunken sex holidays.
