I agree completely, Lucy was wayyyy more beautiful. However, you have to understand that sometimes you fall in "love" and it goes beyond the looks.
I remember my first girlfriend who was something more like a Jane (not skinny, not too fat) but I was so in love with her that I rejected/ignored other (more attractive maybe?) women that were interested in me at the time. Though this girl wasn't a total b*tch like Carli, but even if she was I probably wouldn't have noticed or cared much.

Totally agree, Lucy was cute but also sexy, she looks great in that scene where she is getting ready to skinny dip! Carly was a pain in the ass but I guess that was the whole point
