Yes I have read Button Man. 🙂 You know, I can’t really remember as it’s been so long since I’ve read it. If you can find it on Amazon for under a tenner then I recommend. 🙂
    No, but really
You can borrow it for 14 days from the Internet Archive

The Gentleman Ghost looks like a right naff villain.
That’s good then…let me know how you find it. It only takes several minutes to read. 🙂

I've read it already Bobby and it was a nice and fun read. Good artwork moreover
It was a Walter Mitty tale as I expected and the humour was a nice dark kind of British humour
I didn't read the foreword by Seth though
All in all now too shabby and I can see why it has been archived

It deserves to be preserved. It’s a lot better than Lucky Luke isn’t it. 🙂

I learned French to Lucky Luke and so there's always going to be a soft spot for him in my heart

No it is not. This is Threads and it is a fine film not deserving of ridicule. Threads should never be played for laughs!

Oh, and while I've not watched it yet, here is the Critical Drinker's video on it (I've not watched that yet either, but he's very keen on it)

It’s very very good and free to watch on BBCIPlayer. 😊 We should perhaps do a Filmboards group viewing where we arrange a time and (whoever wishes to) watches the movie at the same time as us all synchronised. Then we all meet up on here afterwards and chatter about it. 🙂

That could be difficult Bobby as some people are outside of the UK and so won't be able to access BBC iPlayer and others don't pay their license fee and so can't (Or shouldn't) watch it either.
                  Thankfully the
                  Threads (1984)
board here as it available for everyone (Like a library does) and so syncing up for a watch and a chat might be a bit easier.
And someone here (I can't remember who) can do a thing where everyone watched is in a chatroom and people can type as they watch it and share their thoughts in realtime

Ooo that would be great!! Although I would suggest everyone saving their thoughts until after the film, that way the full horrors and message of Threads can be properly absorbed. 🙂

Well I've leave it to you to organise Bobby but don't do it for this weekend (As you're going away) and don't give people too much of a heads up about it as people show an interest and then forget about it if given too much time
