Do you think there are two women out there Bobby, talking about the spectators at the England World Cup finals of 1966?
That could be fun. You and I discussing what we see with women going nuts 3 years prior to them talking about men being bananas.
We've all been to gigs we didn't want to go to Bobby
Gary Glitter is one of mine

Yes that is very possible indeed. They might be particularly focused on one of them thinking that their style of dress could almost be contemporary and also focused on another who looks a lot like someone they know.
I bet that they will never get the pleasure of actually going back in time though and seeing these spectators watching that game in person like we have with the concert.
Was the Gary Glitter concert close to Christmas and did he play his Another Rock and Roll Christmas song? I know that I shouldn’t but I still have that song on my Christmas playlist.

I'm pretty sure he was busted in 1997 Bobby, convicted in 1999 and iPods didn't come out until 2001 and so the origins of your playlist leave a questionable smear
Yes it was at Christmas time and he did all the favourites and a bunch of women were all going gaga for him and having a jolly old gay time of it all
I've
happened upon an interesting forum elsewhere
which is looking into your predicament of a fancier View-Master
I'd say it's more of a read-only moment but you are free to do as you will, of course, but so far I'm looking at Fisher-Price, Kennar and Horipet brands of projector toy type things. Odd that there's not much about them on Wikipedia because they were apparently very popular.
This chap has quite a good article on buying one from eBay
and
this website
has all sorts of things you'd like coincidentally an offshoot of looking for the Horipet stuff
I'm sure some footage of the 1966 World Cup spectators exists Bobby. Those two women will be piecing together their own tales of what was going on that day

Well please allow me to explain my Christmas playlist to you right now…
During the 90s my Christmas ‘playlist’ as it were consisted of the following compact disks…
This one.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Best-Christmas-Album-World-Ever/dp/B000024PK6/ref=asc_df_B000024PK6/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=696285193871&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14565365799535079038&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006585&hvtargid=pla-2281435176658&psc=1&mcid=89b02291e1003813a03a1cb8707436bc&hvocijid=14565365799535079038-B000024PK6-&hvexpln=74&gad_source=1
As you can see, Gary Glitter is track 14 on disc 1.
And this one
https://www.amazon.co.uk/No-1-Christmas-Album-Classic-Tracks/dp/B0000075GL/ref=asc_df_B0000075GL/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=696285193871&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14565365799535079038&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1006585&hvtargid=pla-2281435176658&psc=1&mcid=bf7fc06ea93d35079f4454dc2435d6a9&hvocijid=14565365799535079038-B0000075GL-&hvexpln=74&gad_source=1
Gary Glitter is track 9 on that one.
Now…when I got my first iPod I downloaded said compact disks to my iTunes. Now…when I switched over to Spotify I was hesitant to lose Another Rock and Roll Christmas due to the happy memories attached of Christmas’s past. Now this raises another thorny issue doesn’t it…Is nostalgia sometimes so powerful that it almost cancels out the vile deeds of the individual…at least as far as that one thing goes. The things we love, are we always able to lose them for our principles. There are countless fans of Michael Jackson who would say absolutely we can. I personally think that this could be a great issue for our robot friends to dive into.
Now for the movie players… thank you for your research as it gave me the final piece of the puzzle.
My research lead me to this video here…

Now this was the item that I was thinking of. As you can see they’re small and are fashioned as a keyring (albeit a bulky one) which made them a fun novelty item and a little more ‘sophisticated’ collectible for an early high schooler. BUT that wasn’t the name of the item. So a later rebranding in around 93? Someone in the thread that you linked me to mentioned ‘Action Replay’…THAT was the item!! Then I found this…
?si=A2fDMf_cAcRlGLQ5
Our combined efforts have found it.
Also that blog that you linked me to reminded me of a toy slideshow projector that I had as a smaller child which showed Jungle Book pictures.

The Gary Glitter thing can slide Bobby, it's just a shame that his music gets tied up in his personal crimes while Sir Cliff Richard gets all sorts of rumours thrown at him and nobody seems to mind and continues piling onto an innocent man.
Mistletoe and Wine. That should be this year's song to make up for all of that
I'm glad that you found your 'Action Replay'. You should tell that guy on Reddit and spread the love
Everything seems to be in order then…for now

Nice find!
Have you managed to find a Terminator 2 lead from the Dyson labs into the helicopter cartridge for it?
There must be some kicking about in charity shops or on eBay or something
If not, you could ask that guy on Reddit for his. But he might want to know why and stuff and so perhaps not

No but I did have that one years ago as well as a Tom & Jerry one. They were fun little novelty items. Not as cool as my Super Nintendo but they made a cool little toy to bring with me on car day trips with the Denparents.

Apparently Mattel are bringing out a new movie based on the View-Master and so they might all be worth a few bob more in the near future Bobby
Maybe gen up on them to be the fountain of knowledge for everyone wanting to be into the new Barbie type movie in a few years

That will be nice for these people who want to see a film about a handheld slideshow device. I’ll tell Colin about that as I’m sure that he will watch it numerous times over as he does with all of the films which come out at the multiplex.
There’s a Taco Bell around there now you know, I do not rate Taco Bell.
Speaking of films I watched one the other day called Threads, have you seen it?

I haven't seen Threads but that YouTube guy The Critical Drinker saw it and really enjoyed it. I've not seen it at any cinemas around here and so just put it on the backburner. Is it any good?
I've only done Taco Bell a couple of times and really didn't like it apart from once - where it was awesome and I'd have it everyday for lunch if it were convenient (And they sold beer too!).
But generally fast food Mexican places need to be family run (And good). There's a great place here called Rafa's which ticks all the boxes and isn't too well known outside of people who have visited it. It's one of those ones where you know it's going to be huge and completely change to adapt and so it's only a matter of time until then. But those are the best places to use and try to help them on their journey to eventually not be what you love

You don’t need to watch Threads at the cinema, it is on BBCIplayer to watch right now!
It’s an old film from 1984 but a good one. It’s a very realistic portrayal of nuclear war and it begins with a bunch of people in Sheffield just quietly going about their usual day to day business. The news is going on in the background but the characters aren’t taking it very seriously at first but then it escalates. I won’t say any more as it deserves watching with little reveal.

No it is not. This is Threads and it is a fine film not deserving of ridicule. Threads should never be played for laughs!

Gentleman Jim is much more lighthearted. It’s about a toilet cleaner who dreams of something more exciting. Anyone who’s ever been bored of their work or life can relate to Jim.
