This film had a few good action sequences, but no plot, no point, and no explanation why this war was being fought.
why do you give it 5/10 then ? sounds like a 2/10 at best.
and thats assuming you can look at krusten dunst's face and watch her awful acting -

I agree. I give your review a 10/10.
I remember not being impressed with the first trailer I saw. Then people were raving about the movie after it debuted at a film festival, and I wondered if it was better than it appeared to be. It wasn't. -

I just watched it on cable and I agree.
It would have been a much better movie if they had started with America becoming divided or states seceding showing the motivation why they felt like they wanted to go to war, which is a real serious ****ing thing where this movie did not make it seem like it, and then end it when the first battle starts with the journalists or soldiers or both we have been following through the movie, going into it to fight and report then ends then we get a different movie as a continuation for the sequel.
If not then it could be a one and done which would be better than what we got.
Soldiers take an oath to the Constitution.
We should see what makes a bunch of them all agree to break that oath, which I doubt they will do since they feel like they have to fight for the United and not Divided States.
Instead we get this garbage which was rushed just based on the media catch phrase of bogus suggestion that we have been on the verge of a CW.
The writer/director was taking adv. of that BS.
I am going to start another thread showing why certain scenes were really stupid.
Be sure to read and respond, please.
