I've been trying to find out more about it as well, and that's what I heard.
I tend to like body horror movies, so I won't have a problem with it, but I can't wait to see it!
I'll probably end up waiting until it's available to stream as well. I like being able to pause movies when I want to. Everything I'm hearing about it sounds like it's right up the alley of all of us who love horror flicks! Perfect time of year for this to be coming out, Panther!

I am not familiar with this concept of body horror movies that you and Panther bring up.
Any titles to show what this means?
Pausing movies while watching in the comforts of home is great.
You can stop it to take breaks whenever you want to instead of, "holding it in and almost dying," so you don't miss anything as I have done in the theatre.

Panther gave the best example with The Fly.
Other ones might be Basket Case or Eraserhead.
I drink 4-5 litres of water each day, so yeah, I like being able to pause the movies when need be!

One time Arlo Guthrie, you know the folk singer, came to town for a show.
He played his famous Alice's Restaurant story song which takes about 18 minutes to play.
When he was done a bunch of us dudes went to the men's room!

I don't get it why it turns that way or what motivates it.
I guess when it comes to an H.Wood movie it doesn't matter.
some body horror movies freak me out
I may have to wait for release on cable and turn my head most of the time
Horror movies of all kinds freak me out which is why I mostly avoid them.
Though like you I may watch when it comes to cable.
Out of a curiosity then being a fan of it though.

You may have a hard time with the very ending.
However, for other reasons, I think that you may like it. It's a brilliant concept, and it's also a sad reflection on society and especially on Hollywood.
Yes, the eating stuff, if that bothers you, as you can see in the trailer, they pull a lot of closeups on Dennis Quaid eating, so there's lots of mouth sounds and certain details they put in.

I don't think I've seen that movie. I was confusing it with Reanimator for a hot second though.
This movie is all over YT right now with reviews, and people are all claiming it is definitely one of the best movies of the year. From what I've been watching, this goes all out! There's so much to tie in with symbolism as well as reality. Even the ending makes sense, if you think about it.
You might actually be able to view it as a bit of camp towards the end because it's so outlandish, but I can't wait to see this for myself!

I do like the concept of the movie though with society standards on aging and beauty.
How about the Twilight Zone?
They have a few episodes that cover those concepts.
