You may have a hard time with the very ending.
However, for other reasons, I think that you may like it. It's a brilliant concept, and it's also a sad reflection on society and especially on Hollywood.
Yes, the eating stuff, if that bothers you, as you can see in the trailer, they pull a lot of closeups on Dennis Quaid eating, so there's lots of mouth sounds and certain details they put in.

I don't think I've seen that movie. I was confusing it with Reanimator for a hot second though.
This movie is all over YT right now with reviews, and people are all claiming it is definitely one of the best movies of the year. From what I've been watching, this goes all out! There's so much to tie in with symbolism as well as reality. Even the ending makes sense, if you think about it.
You might actually be able to view it as a bit of camp towards the end because it's so outlandish, but I can't wait to see this for myself!

I do like the concept of the movie though with society standards on aging and beauty.
How about the Twilight Zone?
They have a few episodes that cover those concepts.

Demi used to be a favorite of mine. I’m glad she has returned to acting. Margaret Qualley came on my radar not too long ago but her also being Andie MacDowell’s daughter had me interested. I’m reading the reviews on IMDb. I never let the haters stop me from watching something.

Nope. I don't either. I'll watch the reviews, and they may cause some curiosity or dampen my expectations, but in the end, I'll always end up watching whatever I want to, even if it has "bad reviews".

I can't wait to hear what you think of this, especially the ending. It's got some seriously wild visuals and the final scene is…well, you tell me!
I think Demi looks stunning! I've always had a thing for her. Loved her in G.I. Jane and Charlie's Angels (even though I knew she was a baddie from the get-go).

I actually really dug the whole back/spine stuff! It looked really intense. But there's always something sort of creepy about spines, plus how/why they have to access it. It's also a cool visual.
A couple of years ago, I designed a leather jacket. This company on Etsy would let you customize and design your own style, so I looked at what he had to offer, and I mixed and matched some styles with different shades of brown, a bit like a Wolverine jacket, but I designed this "spine" in a different colour leather which is woven to look like vertebrae right down the middle back of the jacket, so it really does look like a spine on the jacket. I'll try to upload a picture and share it with you. It turned out to be really popular and the designer said when he posted it, he got several requests to have my design recreated, so he asked if he had my permission to duplicate it. It's really a unique accent on a modified leather jacket.
PS: Or I can send Patrick a picture and he can post it. It might be faster, lol
