That's a gross generalisation, as bad as saying gay people are scum or Muslims are scum or Asians are scum or women are scum. There are good and bad people in every group, Christian, atheist, and people of different faiths.

Experience. Going to my friend's churches, this is often what they taught. I mean, you were expected to try not to sin, but they really emphasized that works are less important than accepting Jesus.

Any other experiences with Protestant religions?
I don't have much and was just wondering if there are differences or variations among them since they they all come from the same source which is the Bible, I guess.
I am familiar with Catholic and find them to be too restrictive and dogmatic with heaping all these guilt trips on you.

Generally, Baptists suck. If they don't suck it's in spite of their hateful religion. Many atheists suck too, but usually because of something other than being an atheist. Even the ones who make atheism their personalities are just mildly annoying.

The Baptists you may have encountered may suck, but I disagree with your argument that Baptists in general suck. There are lots of different types of Baptists with different viewpoints and different attitudes and behaviour. It's not fair or right to categorise all of them based on a few bad ones.

You know, leftist and liberal supppprt of Muslims is more about them not being attacked for their faith and being able to believe what they want, right? None of us are okay with ruling by Islam.
Islam rule and progressive ideals are incompatible. They're more compatible with conservative views.

Wrong. You are scared of them. Because they literally kill when you insult their religion.
And you are scared to lose their votes. That's the entire reason the word Islamophobe was created in the first place. To pander.
Liberals don't care about 'views'. They just want votes. That's why they pander to black people and Hispanics and illegals and Muslims and LGBTQ. They want to get enough of these groups to win elections.
Someone shoots up a gay bar. Kills over 50 people. Horrible. Right? The initial reports it had to be a Christian. So they blamed Christianity.
Turns out it was a Muslim. Did they blame Islam? No. They blamed the gun.
Liberals will ignore any atrocity committed by Muslims.
