It's basically copying the Al Pacino movie "Cruising" so far. Hopefully it will feel more like AHS soon, rather than a crime drama.
Even the interrogation scene in the last episode with the big guy in the cowboy hat and jockstrap was straight out of Cruising:

Dammit. It's on fx and hulu, and I have neither.
It's $3.00 per episode. I'm going to have to wait until all of these come out for free somewhere on another streaming channel.
