American Horror Story is headed to the Big Apple.
The 11th season of the Ryan Murphy-created anthology series is titled AHS:NYC, and is just weeks away from being released.
"New Season. New City. New Fears," the show teased in a tweet on Thursday.
The new installment is set to premiere on FX on Wednesday, Oct. 19, according to a release. The premiere will include the first two episodes of the 10-episode season, followed by two episodes each Wednesday for four subsequent weeks.
Previously, it was revealed that series veterans Zachary Quinto, Patti LuPone, Billie Lourd, Sandra Bernhard, and Isaac Powell would be returning for the new story, alongside franchise newcomers Joe Mantello and Charlie Carver. The new announcement adds franchise-familiar faces Leslie Grossman and Denis O'Hare to the cast, as well as newcomer Russell Tovey.
Not much else is known about the new season thus far, but pap pics showed off the actors' leather vests and bell-bottoms, which suggests we're in for another period piece. Two of its stars — Powell and Carver — were also spotted by fans smooching in character, and Bernhard's character was seen walking out of a psychic parlor. Carver and Lourd also appeared to share a scene together.

Did you see any of the episodes for the spin-off series? Is it any good?
I love AHS. It sort of fell off my radar, though. The last episode I saw was the 2nd episode of 1984. Has its quality kept up? It lost rhythm with Coven IMO but found its stride again with Hotel.

I liked Roanoke solely because I think the legend is fascinating (even if it's been solved).
Which season featured Mme. LaLaurie? That one was fantastic, as well, thanks to Kathy Bates.

That was Coven. Love Kathy Bates in anything.
I think all of the show is based on true things. Like isn't Hotel based on Hotel Cecil? There's a good doc about that. Coven borrows a lot from New Orleans lore, and has lots of cultural references. I've seen the house irl. Love that whole neighborhood actually. Underrated area of NOLA.

Really? My mind completely divorced those segments from the stupid "Supreme" bullshit surrounding it. I thought it was an entirely different season, lmao.
Hotel was based on both the Cecil and the Murder Hotel that H.H. Holmes created, I believe.

Rhe thing about Freak Show is I loved mpst of the characters, but the story didn't interest me as much.
I liked the Supreme stuff. I don't know. I'm also biased because I like witches and anytging that involves New Orleans.
