Yes, that is my main hobby. Going through the TV history books and saying "Man, I musta been a retard to like this sh!t." In your case you can do it now.

I think it's meant to be campy (consciously artificial, exaggerated, vulgar, or mannered; self-parodying).
It's supposed to be a wet dream for everyone who ever watched these cheesy, paranormal reality shows and prayed to god that all of the annoying people on the show would die horrible deaths. I mean, I get it. God knows I hate all those shows too, especially those GD ghost hunter shows. I only wish it was scarier and the story actually interesting.

I didn't have a more problem with it than I did with Benedict Cumberbatch's in Dr Strange.
It didn't bug me the first time but when I saw it a second time, I noticed it sounded as though it was from several different regions.
