on a scale from 1-10. 1 being the all time worst episode of AHS and 10 being the all time best.
I give it a 4.

That's also the rating I'd give to the entire season.
I know they were trying something different, which is fine, but it just didn't work for me.
It was incredibly boring not to say nothing happened, but the same things just kept happening over and over again, to new characters who I didn't care about. It was very redundant.
Even when things "changed" in episode 6, it was just ghosts killing in/around the house again. Then when it changed again in episode 10, it was STILL just ghosts killing new and annoying characters in/around the house. I mean, can ANYTHING change please?
I didn't like the format, several of the performances were embarrassingly bad, the accents were atrocious, the story was boring, the "action" was lackluster and not shocking or new when compared to previous seasons the complaints go on and on.
I keep seeing people here rag on those who continued watching even when they didn't like it, and I'll explain why I did. The hype (and previous seasons) had me convinced that I'd be happy if I pre-ordered the season on iTunes. I don't have cable but wanted to keep up with the season as the episodes aired, so I pre-ordered in the beginning. THAT is why I watched every episode! I'd already paid for it. Lesson learned, money lost, never again.
People here also keep claiming that if you didn't like it, it's because you didn't get it. I understand the message about social media, reality TV, audience hunger, etc. I understand that they were trying to ham it up, and I understand that some of it was supposed to be funny (even though I never laughed) and not taken seriously. I do. But it still just didn't work for me.
I hope next season will be better, but I honestly don't have much faith. We'll see. -

Well I see it like an epilogue, an aftermath of the real finale (which was ep 9) - as was every season in AHS. The intense finale is always in the penultimate episode, then the very last episode of each season will be mellow, tying up some if not all loose ends (actually, there are prolly more dangling plotlines than those resolved in all 6 seasons haha). Probably that is why everyone is like, "what? that's it" or "there's nothing happened" sort of reaction.
I rate it as 7 or 8. I enjoyed the season honestly. Haha -
