Did he really abuse her? Who's to say she didn't make that up to make him look bad?
I'm not condoning domestic violence in any way, shape, or form. Lee was a liar and lied on more than one occasion.
I think her "sacrificing" herself was a cop out. She didn't want to go to jail or accept the consequences of reality.
Aside from Mason, she straight up murdered other people and then wrote a book and got paid for all her infamy. That right there also makes me think she had no remorse about any of the killings.

It was a character study of American media and how desperate people can be for money.
Returning to a death trap, anyone?
That's a good analysis. But I don't think the show was
that
clever
If I don't reply, you're probably on my ignore list for something I forgot already -

Thorakus,
"I really hate documentary, found footage, and reality type shows and movies so this just wasn't the season for me. I did watch it all though as an AHS series fan."
that's EXACTLY how i feel as well. -

Not a lot of people, I notice, are capable of evaluating something based on artistic merit.
I, for one, loved this season. I'll admit I wasn't sure where they were going with all this episodes 6 and onward, but they handled the finale masterfully, and everything fell into place.
