Hey there!
I wonder if they could try to pull a cannibal holocaust in the ending here? I was thinking about the impaling of Taissa and annoying ass dude #2 could be a clue? When Cannibal Holocaust came out it was so controversial because the actors had signed a contract where they weren't allow to go public about the movie for about a year if I remember correctly and the filmmaker was getting sued for killing the actors in real life or letting them die on camera - so basically making a snuff.
There's a scene where a girl is getting impaled and the filmmaker had to prove that it was fake and could be done again (she was sitting on a bike seat and having "the short end of the stick" in her mouth holding it.
If anyone has any corrections please comment because I vaguely remember the whole thing and I don't have time to double check it online. -

If you want to follow the real story. The director (in this case it will be Lee) was on trial for the events that happened during filming. But in the end he was let off because he proved everything was fake. That would be pretty interesting to see and a total LOL moment for me.

I know right? This show is intentionally (for the better or for the worst) super over the top and should be enjoyed for what it is and not for what it could be. I could honestly see it go down that route and in some weird way I don't think I would mind.

Oh really? Well cheers! I was wondering if anyone else was thinking it. But I mean the whole impalement scene was probably the hugest nod towards it and they really seem to take inspiration from the classics so CH and BWP nods are probably coming. Tonight had the big Blair Witch nods .. let's see if next week we get more CH nods!

Yeah! They may not do the whole episode that way, but I love the concept that the director asked the characters to lay low to hold up the "this is real footage" concept, then got hauled into court for making a "snuff" film and had to bring in the still-alive actors to unprove the realism.

The only problem with this theory, despite how much I like it, is I can hear the whining now - They stole that from Cannibal Holocaust. If it happens next week prepare for the internet to collapse under the weight of a whine and cheese festival.

Exactly! And the problem is though that it's from the real world. They can steal whatever they want from there! I mean if they remade the iconic crying scene from Blair Witch it's something else but people will always be bitching. It's the same old same old like with bands. They want them to stay the same way forever but if AHS made four other Murder House seasons people would be screeeaming for a change.
Ryan Murphy thinks outside of the box and takes steps into the unknown like with this season. Name ONE other show that has done the same that this season did. It may not be perfect but my god is this better than most out there.
There's a reason why the haters keep watching. They can't stop! haha -

He said from the outset that the title American Horror Story in itself was a nod to classic american horror films. I dont know why people continue to whine about the homages.
This season has been a rip roaring ride. I'll go into detox after the finale. I've had so much fun with it. As much as Murphy gives me the pips by spoiling things, at this point I hope the show continues for years to come. It's been hair curling entertainment.
