why did Lee leave the camera?

When they left the polks, audrey, monet, and Lee had the footage. Why did Lee leave it behind and run if it was so important to her that she delete it

I don't think Lee ever had the camera. Audrey was the one who found it. She and Monet went back to the house without Lee. Audrey was convinced Lee was already dead. Audrey and Monet were watching the footage of Lee's confession when they heard a noise and discovered the possessed Lee had come back to the house. I don't think Lee was in her right mind, or even knew they had the camera with the footage of her confession at that point. I don't think she came back to herself until the police found her the next morning.

I thought when they first went back to the Polks, audrey found monet and Lee found the camera. Then they go outside, find dead what's his name and see the butcher and her crew coming. I'm almost positive Lee had the camera. Even if she ran because she was scared, I'm surprised she just left the camera there.

I need to re-watch that entire bit again. It was all so confusing! It looked to me like Audrey went back to the shed where they were holding Lee captive and found Monet tied up there , while Lee went back to the building where they had Audrey and Monet tied up and were trying to pull out their teeth! I thought the camera Lee found was the one that showed Audrey getting her tooth pulled and bashing in Mama Polk's head with the hammer, while Audrey found the camera with Lee's confession right before she shot the bearded Polk.
I can't figure out how the Butcher and her mob ended up with Wes Bentley guy? I thought he was dead back at the Polk's place. I thought the Polks had killed him before they went after the ladies. The last Polk was the one who saw the Butcher and her mob coming, wasn't he? I'm sooooo confused! But I can't make myself watch it again tonightit's going to have to wait until tomorrow. I'm still too traumatized to see it again so soonhaha. -

All we know for sure is that Monet and Audrey ended up with the camera that had the footage of Lee's confession on it. They were watching it just as Lee showed up back at the house. They'd already seen her confess to killing Mason.
I'm still not convinced Lee was the one who found that particular camera. I still think it was Audrey who found it.
