I think we go to flashback mode of what really happened and Shelby and Matt aren't telling the truth.
      Yo, she-bitch! Let's go !

I would not consider that to be a very big twist in the realm of this show. That would actually strike me as anticlimactic and a big letdown if it was the twist.
Last season's 'main guy is actually the killer'
thing was kind of a letdown because as I went through, I thought "oh wouldn't it be crap if that was the super-overused twist" and there it was.
What difference would it make if they were dead? Like oh, they're dead, someone is talking for them. Would it change the way the story actually is? Not really, since the whole deal is just them telling what happened to them, which is unchanged whether it's told through a medium or not.
If that was the twist I would be incredibly disappointed because it has absolutely no bearing on the story so far.

I don't think they are really deadat least not yet. The reason is because when the producer asked Lee about her first daughter and she got upset, they showed her interacting with a crew member.
Regardless, I am beginning to believe that they are lying about what actually happened to them at that house. I think the big twist is that the production crew is going to go to the house to investigate further and it's going to get even scarier when they encounter the real paranormal activity there.

I don't think you understand my original post at all
My theory is that the producers are talking to a medium, most people are seeing the medium sitting there speaking for them, but we are seeing the ghosts instead of the medium who is actually there.
The ghosts are sitting inside the medium's body, taking turns talking through her. We are seeing them but in reality it's the medium is sitting there and they are using her as a vessel. Remember when Sam danced with his lover in Ghost but it was really the medum? We saw him but anyone walking in on it would have seen Whoopi Golberg's character dancing with her.
I think the person really sitting in that plain studio room with the blank background is probably the medium from season one.

You're right, i didn't understand from your original posts that's what you meant.
But if your scenario is the case, why did the medium get so upset when they asked about Flora and demand the cameras to be turned off? That seems odd behavior for a ghost speaking through a medium. Maybe Lee was not a ghost, but Shelby and Matt were. They seemed to be much less emotional when recounting their experiences than Lee did, anyway. And then there was the Uber driverdo you think he was a ghost, too?
It's a good theory, though. I'm excited to see what happens on the next episode. i read so many different interesting theories, I'm almost hoping someone guessed correctly!

You're asking why the medium got upset. Because if this played out according to my theory the medium did NOT get upset. The ghost inhabiting her body and talking through her is upset.
Think of the human medium as a suit the ghost is wearing to speak and interact with others.
And no, I don't think the uber driver is dead. I was speaking specifically and only of the family.
There is a chance you are right, that perhaps the husband and wife are dead and the sister-in-law survived. I don't know.

Going with your theory that the Milers are deadI wonder what actually happened to Flora? The ghosts are telling the production crew how they all escaped the angry mob of colonist ghosts. Flora is the only one who wasn't interviewed. Does that mean she didn't die, therefore is not a ghost?

Well, I was wrong but to be fair that wasn't really much of a twist they gave us
