There weren't any gay sex scenes in hotel, not sure why people include demon rape with a razor drill under that category.

Really so the countess didn't have an explicit tryst in the first few minutes of hotel? And she wasn't beep Natascha or Angela Basset's character

            The show is called American
            Horror
Story. This is his take on modern horror, which in its self usually involves a lot of "shock" elements. As someone mentioned, bad things happen to everyone.
I do agree that there are past inconsistencies that make you wonder if there were too many hands in the pot when it came to writing, but so far this season seems to be getting back on track, sticking to a consistent plot.

I kind of agree too, especially the part about 'shock' elements. This show is lousy with them and it seems like it's all about shock value over genuine horror and fear. I can only speak for myself here, but I've never found AHS to be 'scary', but maybe that's because I've become so desensitized by horror in general with all the scary movies I've watched growing up. The stuff on AHS is horrifying to watch and definitely disturbing but not scary and doesn't keep me up at night with the lights on. It's been a while since any movie or tv show has been able to have that effect on me. I'm sure this show scares
              some
              people though

Murphy has a bad habit of creating LGBT characters for the PURPOSES OF: getting explicit exploitative sex scenes out of them
WTF show are you watching, because it sure isnt this one.

Have you ever heard a little device called a TV Remote? I suggest you find one and learn how to use it, or did you NEVER ONCE notice the TV-MA rating?
                      Dude, its Beacon Hills.
