I don't see it as inaccurate in any way; watch 'Cops' and you'll see this same juvenile attitude all the time.
If you take some ghetto trash who has the same education & maturity level as a pre-teen, give them a gun, tell them they are important and that their sole mission in life is to defend a tiny sliver of a $hi!!y@ss neighborhood, you are going to end up with someone pretty damn annoying.

You need to crawl out of your whitebread lives and explore how that kind of world works. For one thing, forget all the college Chicano Studies BS glorification of hispanic culture and check out the true underworld hispanic culture operating in the Mexican cartels. Go to http://www.bestgore.com/beheading/four-women-la-guera-loca-beheading-dismemberment-los-zetas-mexico/ . You will see four female hispanic cartel members decapitated and dismembered. One of them is La Guera Loca, the Crazy Blonde, who herself can be seen in a linked video decapitate a member of a rival cartel and then cut the face off of the decapitated head. It is truly stomach-wrenching to see. Mexican cartel chicks are hardly paragons of sugar and spice and everything nice.

Not sure which "Mexican chick" you are talking about but if you are talking about La La (Yahira Flakiss Garcia), not only did I think her acting, mannerisms, ETC., were absolutely spot on, but I thought who ever cast her made a great decision to go with her when she was on-screen, I had a hard time keeping my eyes off of her.
Btw- this was, at least according to IMDB, her first film! 10/10 -

the character was disgusting. (NOT the actress, I had nothing against the Actress)
I knew the actress was just playing a role, And I've never been to Cali, So if people are saying she was spot on, then that's cool. I guess she did a really great job.
But I couldn't stand the character. too cheesy, too loud, just really gross, it made me cringe when I saw her on screen, I was just really really glad she was not on screen too much

I thought all of the Mexican gangsters were kind of bad. Like, their reactions seemed like when extras are told to react to what's around them, but they didn't exactly know what to do. That was my issue. Not that anything they said was actually unrealistic, just the portrayal of it came off a little fake.

AGAIN I THOUGHT IT WAS REALISTIC THAT THEY WERE AWKWARD UNPLEASANT AND NOT EASY TO WATCHTHAT TO ME IS WHAT BEING AROUND A GANGSTA ISTHEY MAKE YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE ACT LIKE LITTLE CRAZY IMMATURE KIDS AND YOU THINK YOU CAN GET SHOT AT ANY MOMENTI DIDNT ENJOY WATCHING THEM ON SCREEN..BUT I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE POINTIT MADE ME FEEL LIKE WHAT IT WOULD BE LIKE TO BE AROUND THEM..

you mean the girl with the baby who was angry because the cops chose to go into her apartment building possibly risking her baby? yeah, really annoying. just stfu, hide behind a hard cover. but it's possible a realistic portrayal. people become beep idiots under stress.

I am glad someone brought this up. I am half-hispanic and use to live in both ela and s. central (willowbrook). i judge these types of movies by how real AND REPRESENTATIVE the latino/a portrayals are. this chica was the most realistic portrayal i've ever seen in a banger flick. that is saying something. she went as high as you can go without going over the top. i swear they were copying a chica i knew in ela in 93-94. even the glasses while driving. these totally ganged out chicas who are somewhat near a power base, as opposed to the chicas who are just there to get beep easily play it many ways. one way for mama, one for a job(remember she mentions going to work?-many of these chicas have real jobs, the shot-callers love that). she looked one way at the party, one way driving the van on the aborted hit and another way for the hit later. and hey, who can argue with the lesbian thing. this was easily the best characterization in the movie. and sure, maybe i have a crush on her. just sayin.
