What should disturb you is that this type of thing happens in reality!
Always look for the positive in every situation.

Yeah, these kinds of movies tend to be scarier than horror movies because they are unfortunately rooted in reality.

Yea and police all over the country do good things every day but we don't hear about that. If I have to hear about bad cops every night on my beep TV howcome I don't see what good was done that day by the police? Punk ass, one sided, liberal media ass media.

That's like saying the media only focuses on a troubled neighborhood when a major crime is committed. Doesn't mean there aren't more people in that residence area being helpful and considerate to one another on a daily basis but the media doesn't dwell on that. The media sells bad news to the public. Period. And its the public's fault for accepting that status quo.

The mid-ending was what really got me. As soon as they pulled up chasing the van, destiny was on, to the shoot out and run into the alley from the final alley scene.

It's scary that this kind of thing is going on, a bit too real. One scene that upset me was the baby taped up. With the young boy you could just about get away with telling him it's a game and he kind of gets that they're acting, but the baby looks genuinely terrified and is crying, it's upsetting if you have kids yourself.

it's a very powerful film. the documentary style adds to the realism which makes it more disturbing

I just watched this, and it's been out for a few years. It isn't a problem of being "too real", because that doesn't exist. It was just real. I've seen it, more than once. That's the story of a crack whore. She hooks for her dope, gets children. The story continues. I didn't work in South-Central, but it happens everywhere. This is nothing new, but it is real.
