Nah, It's a huge business. They're making too much money and not just for selling to Americans. Guns manufactured in the US sell all over the world.

That is what happened in other countries that had a madman as dicktator with unstable governments so that would not happen here should guns ever be outlawed.
Adding more guns in the hands of more law abiding citizens just ain't working and it never will since it would have worked by now.
Instead it is like fighting a fire with gas.
It just ain't gonna stop the spread.

I take it that Stardust is from England or one of the other ones in Great Britain.
How is our country any better than theirs where we have mass shootings that leave children dead while they do not?
What do we have that they don't which makes them desire to live here instead?
This guy has it right were we are very arrogance with our freedoms when other countries have more freedoms than we do.

Easy for a Brit to say. We live on a semi-secluded small island, with a much less diverse population. Like other european countries, we are much more of a communal country than the US could ever dream to be.
The US has a much larger population and land area to police efficiently. They have also adopted and promote a much more cut-throat version of capitalism.
The working classes are still respected in the UK. In the US they are seen as bottom-feeders. This is what drives their crime rate and ultimately private gun ownership.
Things like spree-killings will simply have to be handled another way.
