I thought it was funny and maybe a little ironic that Jessie met Elizabeth Reaser's character at the end of the movie and hated Twilight. I saw her at the beginning of the movie and thought to myself, wasn't she in Twilight? 🙂
    The deer is to blame.

According to the DVD commentary Radnor claims he didn't know she was in the Twilight movies before casting her, but he also says he has been good friends with her since their college days, so he's lying about one of them (unless his definition of good friend means "someone whose phone number I have somewhere".

Well, it's a coincidence, but there's nothing ironic about it.

I doubt he didn't know. If she read the script, it should've been pretty obvious and if they were such good friends, she would've mentioned it to him. Obviously it didn't bother her but they must've known.

It's also totally plausible that she hated those books too, even if they got her a series of movies and semi-decent paycheck.

I thought it was sweet serendipity that she appeared in this film. Only those who've seen Twilight would have recognized her. Brilliant casting.
