Her full name is

She's a feral who would show up in my back yard to eat scraps of cheese I threw to the birds. Then I started feeding her cat food in a bowl. But she was very skittish, and when I would show up, she would do an
"escape act"
. And since I had not had a chance to do a close observation…..
She's still a bit skittish two years and eight months later. But when I sit on one of the benches on the deck, she hops up on my lap and lets me stroke and scratch her! And we both
love it!
Sometimes I call her
"Harriet".
