Not sure what you mean. The first season will cover about the first third of the book - not sure how many episodes there are but definitely more than 6.

Well I'm thoroughly confused then! I read an interview with Ricky Whittle and he said that the first season ends at The House on The Rock.

My interpretation is that the book's plot is used as a jumping off point, with the show greatly expanding on what's on the page. But yeah, the first season does end at the House on the Rock.
