Me too! For years I pictured Jennifer Coolidge in the role, then as time went on I thought of Christina Hendricks.
This casting is very different from how I picture the character, but then, this show is going to be very different from the movie, so that's alright. The most important thing is to get really good actors, which Chenoweth certainly is.

Oh yes, she most certainly is, I really like her as an actress too. I just don't know how they will get past this idea that she is abundant, maybe they will do it materially instead and have her surrounded by riches instead of foods but I will miss the Easter of my mindseye.
Looking forward to the spin they put on this though.

I like kristen for the role but yes, Jennifer Coolidge would have been spot on.
Idk if Hendricks would have been good or not, she definitely has the fertile goddess thing going on and slight ditz so, maybe she could have.
The world will never know. Lol. -

I pictured her as a Kate Upton or Christina Hendricks type. Very curvy, yet still VERY sexy. Sweet,kind maybe just a touch ditzy. Though under that there is a practical, formidable person. Upton couldn't pull off the role, just the look. Hendricks could have nailed it.
