The book is great. Some of Gaiman's novels read as though he's getting them ready for tv but this one doesn't. I love it.

It's bloody brilliant. Supposedly, it came very close to be called one of the Great American Novels. No small feat, considering Neil Gaiman is British. "who has a BOAT in Denver?!"

I'd still consider it a Great American novel. It's so entrenched in the land and people, after all. Geek Girl

Can I just say I wrote my thesis on Gaiman's Anansi Boys, American Gods and The Sandman? As one fan to another:-) "who has a BOAT in Denver?!"
