this movie isn't that good
after skimming through the boards and the reviews I concluded the high ratings consist of votes of fanboys and nationalists
was the action good in the movie? sure
was the rest any good? no

The action in the movie is precisely what has driven the ratings as high as they are. It's a super low budget film showcasing it's fight scenes, fight choreography, and fight cinematography. If you were looking to get anything else out of the movie I can see why you may have been disappointed. I'm no fanboy or nationalist, and I thought it was fantastic.
The second movie has equally as impressive action scenes but also focuses more on storyline and character development. If that's what your looking for I'd give the sequel a shot if you haven't already. -

the fightscenes were pretty much the only good thing about this movie
the plot was bad and the realism went down the drain
when they fight the guy at the end, he is like the T-1000 withstanding anything they throw at him and he just walks around as if nothing happened
an average of 5 stars from me because of the fightscenes, everything else was subpar

I loved this film for its sheer relentlessness alone. Once the **** hits the fan for the S.W.A.T. team, it just goes for ****ing broke with one ferocious action scene after another.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
