at the end of the show (sometimes kisses on the cheek), and only just gives a handshake to the guys? I don't think it's to show respect, cause, either you shake both their hands, or hug both of them, or you just don't do any of that at all.
It's almost like he's sending a subliminal message to the guy: "Hey, Guy. I've got my hands all over your girl. What you gonna do about it? LULZ!!!"

I couldn't point to an episode right now, but I'm sure I've seen him hug the men at times also. Not all guys want to do that huggy stuff anyhow.

I don't think it's a big deal to hug the women and either handshake the men or hug them. I wish some people would stop being so sensitive about things of that nature.

I'm lucky enough to have gotten one of Jackson's "girl" BEAR hugs and it was wonderful! He's just a sweet and sincere person. I wish more people (both male and female) would have the GUTS to show affection to their fellow man like that!

I couldn't agree more. When both people are open to it there is nothing better than a nice warm hug! It change your mood if you're feeling down.

Not to mention that they have just been through a pretty stressful situation together! They have put their trust in Jackson and he has changed their lives! That deserves a hug. I know I've seen him hug some of the men, and I'm sure he would hug more if it was more socially acceptable.

On some of the more recent episodes, he's hugged the guys; also a couple times where the couples were gay males, he hugged each of them.

i think he knows a lot of guys dont like hugging other guys. but women dont usually mind. esp when it is an innocent hug.
and the kiss on the cheek. where im from, it is normal to kiss both side of the cheek. it isnt sexual.
