She was just, well, weird. She was so worried about getting cat fur on her precious silks that were hanging on the wall. Well, couldn't she have hung them higher up on the wall? She was so worried about getting cat fur on her precious silk pillows? Well, why have the pillows there in the first place? It just seemed like there were some very minor changes that she could have made that would alleviated the stress on both her and Pump.
Bottom line, she just plain didn't like Pump because he was a holdover from the previous girlfriend. Woman needs to do some serious growing up.

Oh, I agree Toby!!! Those pillows just pissed me off, because what were they even there for?!? And she lived with Pump for 6 years, and just NOW decides that he has to go?
I was amazed on Jackson's first visit, and Pump was just totally chilling on her lap. Usually the cats on this show are scared, violent, or SOMETHING out of the ordinary, and there's this gorgeous old orange guy just hanging out, I was like, WHY did they feel the need to call Jackson?
My favorite episodes are always when Jackson gets choked up, and he really did when they said they were going to keep Pump (who rehomes a 23-year-old cat ANYWAY?!?
). So if it's true what the poster below said about that woman's FB page, that they sent Pump to live somewhere else, karma will come back around to her. What a bitch.
If I were her husband (boyfriend?), I would have dumped her before I knocked her up. I feel sorry for the baby they're having.

yup, complete beep excuse. My boyfriend has a cat that was brought into his house by his ex-girlfriend, and when she left him she didn't take the cat with her. I don't care. The cat doesn't know the difference anymore that she's gone. I love the cat as much as I would otherwise.

Oh my GOD! I came here to vent because she disgusted me so much. Holy crap. A 23 year old cat is the equivalent of 109 year old person. He was probably half blind and deaf. She was completely lacking in any kind of kindness, empathy or patience, especially for a so called "healer." No compassion for the medical issues Pump has, which he can't complain about. I've had elderly cats myself and I know what kind of medical needs they have. They are often in pain with arthritis and tooth decay (assuming these idiots didn't get regular vet care for their cat)
I'm glad she outed herself on national TV as the cruel and self-centered fool she is. Jackson cared more about Pump in 6 minutes than she did in 6 years. He was a perfectly nice, normal, elderly cat. Between her and the girls who didn't fix their cats and let them breed I was cringing the whole time while watching this episode.
Actually the 2 girls in the first segment showed some growth. There is just no redemption for that other hateful witch. She only came around when she realized how much money she could make expanding her "healing" business to include animals. I would never ever take my pets to her and I hope no one does. She is vile and loathsome and that guy was a total idiot for staying with her and having a kid with her. Oh how big of her to "let" her husband keep his 23 year old cat. What a big heart. Ugh.

Yea, if I were one of her clients I'd be finding myself another healer real fast after seeing this episode. Ridiculous. I hope she has more empathy and concern with her baby. Maybe some motherly instincts will suddenly appear.
Good point about her only only starting to care about Pump when she realized she could make money. I hadn't thought of it that way, but you are right. If Jackson hadn't brought that angle to her attention Pump would be history.

coubotand, i agree! i was so disgusted the way she treated pump! I dont care if she is pregnant , so what about the hormones!!!!!! Remember 6 years! she probaly treated him like crap. she had enough time to bond with the cat and start treating him like a "clinet" of hers.
honestly it pissed me off. She could have gotten over the fact it was his ex's cat! I have never seen a women like that in my life. throwing a book at the door like that , ugh disturbed me in so many ways. I honestly wanted to hit her!
Wow! What a totally amazing, excellent discovery!

Well, from what I'm hearing she rehomed Pump anyway. On her facebook page she said that she had decided to do so BEFORE filming, and that she only did the show for the money. Apparently she dumped Pump and her other cat off with her elderly mother.

NOOOO Dont tell me that!!! I think that rag should have been rehomed!! And the boyfriend get custody of their baby. a HEALER????? Who is she kidding!!! I found it even more despicable that someone who calls herself a healer, be so mean and cold to an animal. SHE needs healing and for her business to fail.
I had a cat identical to pump but female - she died when i was 7 months pregnant and i was devastated. She died young too- at 5 years - i wish i had her for 23 years!

This woman is the most vile person I have seen on this show. Pump unconditionally liked her enough to want to be around her, even through the abuse. I bet this person treats her elderly mother the same way. KARMA COMETH !
Hopefully Pump and the MIL strike up a common bond that extends each other's lives.

I didn't know I was a cat person until well into adulthood, but now that I know I am, there's no going back.
Cats are the freakin' bomb. I would take a random cat over most people any day.

I read some things about how the woman intended to get rid of the kitty all along, went on the show for money and exposure for her froo-froo business. I'd hope that anyone seeing this show would avoid her "services."
The fact that the woman is pregnant scares me. I don't know how a woman so high strung that she can't deal with a cat mewing a little bit without throwing books at it and screaming at the cat to shut up is going to manage successfully dealing with an infant/child.

I haven't researched it, but I understand that people on Facebook went ballistic over this b***h's treatment of the poor cat. She had to shut down her pages and her business website, and give the money back to Animal Planet.

One of my cats passed away last year at the age of 20. She did become a bit of a handful in her elderly years, sleeping in the linen cupboard and getting cat hair on our clean sheets and towels, constantly needing attention, wanting to be picked up and carried around almost everywhere. And you know what, I gave her whatever she needed, so what if I had to pick her up and give her a cuddle for the tenth time that day, cat hair on the linen pfft there's a washing machine for that. She was pushing 100 in human years, I figured she'd earned the right to be given the run of the house and waited on hand and foot. I simply cannot fathom rehoming a cat at that age, or treating an elderly cat with such negative energy. But maybe Pump is better off having been rehomed to a place that can show him the sort of love and care he deserves in his golden years, rather than having to put up with being shouted at and things being thrown at him. How do you even begin to think that's appropriate behaviour for a 23 year old cat, I justthe mind, it boggles.
