But I was expecting maybe a 6.7, not 5.9. That's just criminal. Reminds me of Teeth acclaimed by critics, but has an IMDb score that lumps it in with the garbage of the movie world.

I had to give it an 8 too. I actually think it's more of a 7.5 film, but rather than go down, I went up because the overall score was so damn low! Currently 6.1 - I was expecting around a 7 for sure. If it somehow had been an 8, I would have been more inclined to go down to the 7. I wonder how many other people do this as well, specifically those with very ethical scoring attitudes - adjusting their score up or down by half a point when they see the overall score is undeservedly low or undeservedly high!
This is the problem with imdb's scores, they're just not flexible enough, they really need to allow for half-marks at least!
