Personally I prefer her earlier stuff with Christy Canyon..
If there is a god, then how come there is a Simon Cowell?

This is the best acting I've seen from Traci.
      Well,in mainstreem movies,that is.
But seriously, yes,I thought she did a great job in this one.
Wouldn't call it a horror movie though, more a dark comedy.
The only time I jumped was when Traci screamed at the end.

badgers? badgers!? WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' BADGERS!!!

A movie doesn't need jump-scares in order to be horror. Movies that wouldn't be horror without jump-scares are normally pretty lame.

Her best work was in Deep Inside Traci, a true collector's item.

I would even go as far to say that that performance was Oscar-worthy. She was the best thing in the movie, although Annalynne McCord did an excellent job as well, obviously.

I think her performance was in keeping with the tone of the film. She acted as well as the subject matter. She was as good as Annette Benning in American Beauty. Her performance did what was asked of her..to play a caricatured overbearing, prim, repressed housewifewhich she did..to a tee.
I agree with your sentiments on the oscar pointsto a point. Her performance isnt Oscar worthy..but then many Oscar winning performances aren't. The Oscars are no barometer of what constitutes good film-making/acting and are so political and pandering as to be irrelevant. Box Office/Oscar wins mean nothing in terms of how good a performance is.

Thought that was a good analogy - RoyBatty - the Annette Bening character in "American Beauty". I thought Traci played the role spot on. Here is the thing, from my view. I grew up in the 80s and just about all of us loved Traci Lords. When she went over to straight films - I never paid attention. As a matter of fact, prior to this film, I had never seen a straight Traci Lords film. The thing for me was I was SURPRISED!!! Big time. I really only started up with this movie because I wanted to see what Traci looked like now. Then, as many people here, I became captured and stuck with it. As I'm watching it Im saying to myself "WOW - Traci is really good, I cant believe it!!". I have to say this as well - if it was a bigger, widely released, well publicized film - I think Traci would have got some Oscar notice. I've seen worse performances win. Especially that last scene. My heart skipped a beat when Traci screamed and the movie ended. Good stuff!!

I hated her. I am also asking myself which one, the actress, the character or both? But that was the point of her role. I guess that would describe a good actor/actress. I don't know if she did it intentional or not but it worked great for her role in this movie.
Your post however is so intense, emotional, thinking so high of yourself andover-acted.
                          Take it easy. 🙂

Im gonna need to call you out. In the same way you are denigrating people for their opinions, I am going to point out that you arent half as intelligent as you pretend to be - not to mention that your attempts at wit and or comedy are appalling.
Just for giggles - from where did the term sheeple originate? I'd like to know if you know.

I disagree. She was the worst part of the movie. This woman cannot act.

I read her book. She was suffering a great deal when those movies were made. I'm not above watching porn but I could never watch anything she was in knowing her back story. That's part of why porn is so dehumanizing; you don't think about the people who are suffering behind the camera that they'd resort to this kind of "job." I don't expect you to care as a man's brain rarely extends beyond the boundaries of his boxers/briefs.
