Did he actually think there was HONOR among thieves? He seemed so disappointed and heartbroken when Michael betrayed him. It was a real douchebag thing for him to do, sure, but these guys are criminals. There's no honor or loyalty among them, it's every man for himself. Given his lifetime of being a career criminal, Trevor sure seemed surprised when his partner double-crossed him.
