Being a huge fan of the GTA franchise since GTA 3 i was expecting something amazing. Unfortunately not only was this a complete dissapointment, it was one of the worst games i have ever played. There are so many issues i don't know where to start but i'll try it anyway. First of all the gameplay is really horribly bad because they made it way too realistic, you die way too easily by gunshot wounds, you can die of fall damage falling off a 3ft fence and you get killed if you land in the water from a high distance. While it is realistic, it is not fun to play and makes the gameplay really terrible. I'm suprised after you die it doesn't say: you're dead, you can never play this game again because you're dead! Wanted level is almost impossible to get rid of in this game, which makes it incredibly frustrating to play because you know as soon as you have cops on you, it will take alot of time to get rid of, whereas the other GTA's had a great wanted level system. Also the characters are flat. Trevor atleast made for some laughs but he was just a psychopath with no real special triats, and Michael and Franklin are just boring, poorly written characters which i could have thought of on my own easily. And then there's the story the story is pretty much this: rob this, rob that, rob that bank, rob everything. the auto-aiming is also not on par with GTA IV because you could hit every body part in that game but in this game you can only hit the chest or otherwise your lock-on gets removed. Driving cars in this game is for casual gamers compared to GTA IV, where it actually took some skill to drive a car well. Cars in this game just feel plastic. Not only is it light years away of the levels of San Andreas or GTA IV, it's pretty much the worst of the series.

I have never played any game in the Saints Row series so i can't really say anything about that.
When you're used to driving fast in one (of 4 or 5), driving fast in the other takes some getting used to. And that's a common point in all games, the endeavor of adapting to the gameplay.
It's not that it's too hard to be able to adapt to the car mechanics of GTA V, it's just that it's way too easy. It's like they created this game to lure the more casual/mainstream audience to buy the game ( People who only play CoD or Battlefield ). As for that guy on the GTA IV boards, i can't really take him seriously because he claims if you don't agree with his ( dumb IMO ) opinion you're a moron, which makes him quite a moron. -

And yet you have not given me one single reason why you think my post is wrong. Also your post makes no sense whatsoever because YOU are the one that's butthurt because i dislike your little game. While i would love to keep going in on this juvenile nonsense unless you have something to say with atleast some substance you aren't worth my attention. But i sincerely doubt you can do that because you can't even form proper sentences which aren't full of false facts and nonsense, so i guess this is the end of your little attention-seeking charade.

Now that you mention it i forgot to mention GTA Online in my OP, which is because i have only played about 5 minutes in total. First you get to watch this useless cutscene, after which you are forced to do a Race. I still don't know if you could skip it or not but after that i just turned my system off and never played it again. Multiplayer should simply have game modes which you can manually pick and not some dumb useless intro forcing you to play a certain mode, the intro's should only be for the Singleplayer. But R* has turned into this overhyped money making machine with no consideration for real quality.

I did, because like i said in OP i was already thoroughly disappointed in the singleplayer at that time, and when they forced me to watch some useless cutscene and race i never wanted to do i had enough of the whole experience. Multiplayer should be simple game modes. No forced races or cutscenes, leave that for the singleplayer, which they also bungled up.

Bit of a narcissist aren't you? I don't know how my last post was "utter nonsense". I guess maybe it hurt your ego. But if you think GTA V is one of the worst games you've ever played, then you clearly haven't played a lot of games. If you think the game play is bad, then you're probably just mad because you suck at the game and couldn't get past the prologue.

It doesn't have anything to do with narcissism. Your previous post made it appear as though i gave absolutely no valid reasons to disliking your game, which i obviously did. So yes, it was utter nonsense. Also i have played a lot of games and like i said nearly the entire GTA series and GTA V is still one of the worst i have ever played. Also this overrated excuse of 'if you don't like this game you just suck at it' has no meaning in this game because GTA IV for example was a much harder game, but much more balanced. This means as long as you are not terrible, you will not die 20 times. In GTA V however, it doesn't matter what you do anyway, because you are still going to die loads of times. I finished the game by the way, and i can say that anybody can be good at this game within a very short time, meaning R* obviously dumbed it down for the mainstream public.

Waaaaah." You said that as if someone would have the privilege of communicating with you. And it's amazing how you're trying to say I have cliche arguments when you're the one who keeps repeating the "you've given no reason as to why this game is good" line. Did I say I was going to state reasons as to why it's good? Also, you're sitting here whining on the GTA V message boards, even when it's quite clear that you don't like the game,so I'm not sure if it's my post that qualifies as "utter nonsense" in this case.

First off, the whole point of this thread is that if you disagree with it, you should state your reasons for doing so, what else would be the point of a board designed for discussion? Yet no one who disagrees seems to want to come to terms with the fact that some people dislike their little game, so they resort to the usual insults. Or they live in denial and still believe i am trying to look for some sort of attention here, while i gave valid reasons for disliking. Also i never wrote "Oh. You're not worth my precious time.
