Contestants are actors?

I have watched this show for a few weeks now and have noticed some of the contestants I have seen in commercials or very small roles on TV. On Friday night they played one w/ a married couple Julia & Andrew who are on the Bravo show The People's Couch. It would suck if game shows are now "scripted".

I noticed this too when the hot twins Annamarie and Ginamarie were on. I found out they are actresses who have had some previous roles.
I think I heard before that when gameshows are new they use unknown actors because there aren't real people who want to be on the show but as the show goes on, they start getting real people. -

Yup, some contestants are actorsalthough perhaps not very successful ones!

Not surprised after hearing those lame and clearly rehearsed introductions that are given by the contestants. On the other hand, it's not surprising to see so many unknown actors in game shows since California is full of them. Even Aaron Paul was once a contestant on The Price is Right before he started getting good work.
