If one celebrity is much better at giving clues then the other, then only one team benefits. Why not have the celebrities give the clues both rounds, so each team has a shot with each of them?
Sorry if this has been brought up. Wasn't gonna scroll page after page!

That is why they switch the celebrities. As a general rule they end up fairly close most of the time. Even when they don't most of the time it is because the contestants themselves are terrible but sometimes the celebrities are pretty bad, can't get away from it. It is better to have one that is great and one that is terrible than two that are mediocre because at the end you want at least one that is great.
Weird all knows pop culture like nobody's business so it isn't a surprise how well he did. -

Yes, they switch the celebs, but they only give the clues once, in the 2nd round they're one of the guessers. So yeah, if one of the celebs is really bad at giving the clues (like Kate Walsh), that team can be at an disadvantage.

Yeah, but the celebrity doesn't have the benefit of personal knowledge. Like if the clue was Macaroni and Cheese I'd say to my husband "Edgar's (our son) favorite food." The celebrity would have to be all "pasta with melted dairy" and might have to go further.
