Watched the first 1.5 episodes with my bird earlier.
I noticed it initially had a 9.8 IMDb rating, which is dwindling.
Pros: the creator and the lead, the Albuquerque setting. The general same cinematography.
Cons: it just isn't very good. I spent most of the first episode confused at what they were attempting here exactly.
I went into this blind. It could be Lost meets Breaking Bad, but I think it's absolute garbage.

As with Better Call Saul, this show also starts off slow, setting up all the pieces. Gilligan has earned our faith and patience now. It'd be more prudent to reserve judgenment until you see the whole season.

Better Call Saul started off slow, but it was always good.
This show just feels dull. They've revealed too much and I don't see what mileage it has.

I just finished the new episode and thought it was garbage tbh. Turgid and an effort to get through.
Stylistically this has all the hallmarks of a Vince Gilligan show, but the narrative is vacuous.
Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul were complex, multi-layered shows with incredible characterisation; you could write the entire plot for Pluribus on the back of a fag packet.
