Shows nowadays just suck. I tried watching Bones and I found it extremely repetitive, tedious and boring. I’m more of a serious crime drama person and I don’t mean Silent Witness or Vera.

I quite fancied that woman out of Bones. But that café bar from season 1 just disappeared and nobody ever even mentioned it again
I do get it mixed up with Crossing Jordan sometimes though and so perhaps I've got the wrong show with this one

The woman from Bones has that famous sister and their mother played David Bowman’s wife in 2010. I like them. The show was just repetitive. I didn’t watch Crossing Jordan but I liked her in Law and Order. -

Glad to hear!
Turns out Watson was written by the same guy who wrote Section 31 and a whole pile of other dross and so my hopes for it having a bad start followed by a better going on are out the window Elle. Ah well!

As always I could be wrong but there's a pile of evidence to suggest that I'm not in this case.
Shame, but it was pretty much a BBC Sherlock and House merger style wise with weak storytelling.
Actors were all good though, well, apart from Moriarty but he only got a couple of lines.

Sherlock was something special. This one doesn’t appear so. I’m not a Morris Chestnut fan but rarely do black men get to head shows here. The guy from Law and Order has a similar show but I haven’t seen it. Apparently it’s doing okay as he was given more seasons. Although that’s not always an indication. I rarely get invested here now because things usually are complete ****e and cancelled in season one. I appreciate the Brits and EU shows with their 6 episodes a season. Less disappointment. -

Yeah the US doesn't really do black male leads very well outside of comedy. Never really thought about it but now you mention it. Morris Chestnut is good in his role with Watson though, be plenty of room for expansion that he looks like he could take if the writing was there for it.

is pretty good for a light murder mystery tale with a black dude in the lead. Based on a based on story too, there's a bit of humour to that

I will await final reviews for Watson before I dig in. I haven’t watched Lupin but will check it out. I attempted the old Rebus but wasn’t into it. I will provide go back though as a lot depends on my mood. -
