Maybe the mid credits shows that she'll get payback for either leaving him and or lying about what happened

He did not escape, she was just having a nightmare. Quite frankly after all the carp he did he deserved to die. If I was in the same situation I would have done the same thing.
Is there anyone that watched this movie that would have done anything to help him. He was responsible for getting a few people killed.
Since 1950 all but two mass shootings happened in gun free zones, notice a pattern?

I think TC was referring to the end credits scene in which
Justine receives a phone call from Alejandro's sister Lucia who says she spotted someone that looks like her brother in a satellite photo. It then shows the satellite image and Alejandro is standing in an open field (in Peru?) and his body is completely black, either painted black or covered in mud.

I wouldn't have done one thing to help. In fact, I would've told him the very same thing he told Justine on the plane. "Alejandro, you knew the risks."

He might not have escaped the picture might have been right after the crash and it just showed he survived the crash. Justine told everyone that was the only one that survived. So his sister just knows that she lied about that since he was shown to be alive.

I thought that the tribe viewed Alejandro as a "savior" after watching the girl stop the war with her cell phone (filmo - camera). So they went back and kinda freed him, or kept him alive for new reasons.
At least that was one possible scenario. They seemed to be in awe of her stopping the massacre at the end.

I think they were in shock from impending and certain death turning into a ceasefire.
They were charging assault rifles with spears and literally getting mowed down. IRL it's often really difficult to tell which way gunfire is coming from, so imagine how people who have never seen guns would perceive it thunderous sounds, their tribe members dying from projectiles they can't actually see, and no one able to get within 100 yards of the enemy without dropping dead.
They'd be like, "What is this sorcery?"
So yeah, maybe they did view Alejandro as some sort of demigod after that.
Probably the simplest explanation is that Alejandro could've easily escaped when everyone ran off. Or he simply beat off again and the cannibals were all, "This dude is just too gross to eat, get him out of here"

^ LOL, maybe not think, "this dude is too gross to eat" but instead, "omg, this guy is so horny, he must be virile. Let's make him our a breeder and have him father our offspring till he's old and dried up"

He might have made a deal with the tribe. Didn't the guy made up in black paint get killed? He might have convinced them he'd be the replacement.

I can't imagine how he could make a deal with them since there is no sign that he could communicate with them through the whole movie and they're an isolated tribe who are unlikely to speak any language he could've possibly studied and know how to speak.
