Firearms sale. Why? Why would the government do such a stupid thing? This is clearly a movie written by an anti-gun snob. Shouldn't the people be allowed to arm themselves in this situation? Remember when the stupid National Guard went door to door? More robberies and rape occurred by gang members who still had unregistered guns. They only confiscated guns they know of from registered owners. Even elderly people were defenseless and some were even raped. It was a tragedy because phones are down and streets were flooded, no help could get to them.

Because of people who panic and make decisions without thinking. If a gun snob got scared and went up and just shot at the aliens, that could cause an all out war and put the world in jeopardy. Think about it

Lol idiots would buy guns and there would be a lot of murders in the streets we as a race are completely stupid tbh. millions of us would say to attack the aliens but im not being funny if any race has the ability to reach us they could destroy us like it was nothing and we wouldn't stand a chance.
