Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Arrival

    Arrival is an intelligent film.
    Forest Whitaker is brilliant.
The keyboard haters are sad and pathetic.
They achieve nothing in their own life and seek to decry the enthusiasm and imaginations of others.
True critique is welcome, which is a combination of positive and negative opinion, in a constructive fashion.
Anything else is petty adolescent nonsense, wet dream irrelevance.

Think of it this way . . the volume and douchiness quotient of all the IMDB posts moaning about how bad or overrated some movie is are inversely proportional to the actual quality of said movie. I've proven this mathematically, but doggone it I've misplaced the formula.
If I was involved with making a movie and no-one was making shrill, insulting or "I'm smarter everyone who likes this movie" type comments, I'd be worried.
          Exception: any Michael Bay movie.

I have meddled with the primal forces of nature and I will atone.

In this case, not liking the movie gets you called stupid.

Is it just me, or does the OP make zero sense? You jump from praising the film to insulting people who hate keyboards. What does that have to do with anything? Why do you even care if someone hates a keyboard?
