Haven't watched the trailer, but let me guess.
Most sinister character is white, and all white people are either stupid, controlled in some way, or lack moral virtue. The hero is either black or otherwise representative of woke values. The intellectual powerhouse is definitely black, so is the highest moral authority. Women are all morally virtuous, the men not so much.
