      That final fight he didn't loose he won, it may not have been pretty but he won.

        Did you even pay attention to this movie? At the end during Kirk's final fight with Krall, Kirk won the fight.

          He also sure as heck won in the first movie when he was up against Nero.
          The only one so far that looked like to have the upper hand on Kirk was Khan, but no wonder when Khan is a genetically manipulated augment with super intelligence and strength.
          That movie belonged to Spock and Bones, who ended up saving the day and the life of Kirk.

              Kirk has saved his entire crew and ship numerous times in the past, but sadly there are still some individuals who choose to turn a blind eye to or dismiss all the sacrifices that he has made for his crew and all the many times he has saved them, simply because these people just don't like Kirk for whatever reason.
